J: Julian date (same as "z" but starting at 1 instead of 0).The following characters are supported differently than what is documented on the PHP date function web site: The clock can also automatically dim at sunset. By simply dragging multiple copies of the clock to your sidebar, you can have two or more time zones displayed simultaneously. In addition to offering a completely customizable date and time format (using the same format as PHP's date function) it also supports an optional time zone offset and time zone label. None of the digital clock gadgets available met my requirements for simplicity and elegance, and Presto's Sidebar Clock was born. Further, while I have no problem with analog clocks in the real world, I like a digital clock for my computer desktop. However, they consume too much screen real estate for my tastes. When I first installed Vista, I used the default clock and date widgets that Microsoft has provided. In this case, I wanted to display multiple time zones at once, so I ended up using a pay program called Zone Tick. TClockEx was perfect for my needs, unless I traveled internationally. So I found a shareware program called TClockEx that installs a customizable clock in the lower right hand corner. My biggest complaint was that it didn't display the date unless you hovered the cursor over the time or made the start bar super wide. On WinXP, I was always very dissatisfied with the default system clock. FeedbackBy Preston Hunt, 08 April 2007 Overview Whether you want this app for business purposes or to give your PC a better appearance, DesktopDigitalClock will do a great job.Windows Gadget: Presto's Sidebar Clock A Vista/Windows 7 gadget to elegantly display the current date and time (with optional time zone support). This app puts no strain on your computer’s performance while it’s running. Download this app if you prefer a cool widget to the standard desktop clock. Much more than a standard clockĭesktopDigitalClock is a fantastic, decorative app that you need to have on your Windows desktop. So, regardless of your language, you can make use of the app. Additionally, you can make use of the optional translation and multilingual function. The software size is around 200 KB, so that it won’t consume much space on your computer. You can change the digital desktop clock settings easily using the tray icon on the Windows desktop taskbar. Additionally, you can set it to ‘Always on Top’ so that it’s always in view. By doing so, you won’t accidentally move it. Once you are done with customisation, you can move the widget to the desired location and pin it there. You can also start the app from the desktop without installation. Users can change the opacity, the size of the text and even the font-just the way you want it. Once you install the app on your desktop, you can start customising the appearance of the clock right away.
